Today, I will continue on the topic of love. Love is a deep emotion that can impact a person’s life or even better, it can reunite people on a daily basis. Before you view this clip from Tron Legacy (2010), consider this question: Do you know of anyone that you have a hard time loving them? Is it someone that you work with, is it someone that you attend class with, or in any other situation?
In this clip, you see Sam Flynn and Kevin Flynn reuniting for the first time in 28 years and it has been a long time coming for both characters. In a way, love can cross all borders and bury any lost time of hatred, quarreling, etc.. between friends and family. In an even better way, God heals all wounds and that he loves us for who we are. His love is timeless and perfect. God wants us to love everyone and I know that sometimes it is hard to love people and the same thing happens to me. Take every day to love someone and to know that they are made in the image of God. We are to love God and love people. I want to end this blog with verse from one of my favorite passages in the Bible from Romans 12:9-10 (NIV): “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
Thank you so much for reading and remember to love one another as Christ loves us.
