The kid without fear

Hi,  I hope that everyone who is reading this is having an awesome day. Today, I will be talking about fear and how that fear holds us back from reaching the full potential that God wants us to be.  Before I will comment about this,  I want you to view a scene from The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). Quick synopsis: The Lizard has decided to attack the Manhattan Bridge, and Spider-Man comes to the rescue and is asked to rescue a kid stuck in a car on the bridge.

There is a moment in the clip in which the kid doesn’t want to leave the car because of      his fear and Spiderman tells him to wear his mask. I think that is something that we all deal with in our walk with Christ. Paul  reminds us in Romans 8:15 (NIV): “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”   We are to not leave in fear but to live in the power of Christ, who has defeated death and the devil.  Fear does not have the last word in life but God does.

Thank you so much for reading.  I hope that this is encouragement to continue to live in victory in Christ.  Have a blessed day.
